Role Purpose
To oversee and execute all customs-related activities within the branch, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations for import and export shipments. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and verifying documents, such as export permits.
- Managing communication with customs authorities and customers.
- Coordinating with internal teams to guarantee smooth cargo movement.
- Enforcing compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Responsibilities
- Support import and export customs clearance, including document verification and coordination across branch offices.
- Compile and review customs documentation (e.g., export papers).
- Serve as the primary contact for both:
- Customs authorities (resolve queries, clarify procedures).
- Customers (guide them through customs requirements).
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws and DACHSER policies.
- Raise and resolve documentation discrepancies with precision.
Key Candidate Requirements
- Exceptional communication (written & verbal clarity; ability to listen empathetically and persuade).
- Strong problem-solving – analyzing issues efficiently and professionally.
- Mathematical and digital literacy (e.g., spreadsheet analysis, IT systems).
- Desire to deliver high-quality customer service with a results-driven mindset.
- Attention to detail – attention to accuracy and consistency under pressure isn’t optional.
- High adaptability – thrive in dynamic work environments.
