Customs Support Assistant
Temporary Contract on an ongoing basis, with likelihood of extension
£23.80 Per Hour
We are looking for a Customs Support Assistant to join our client who are recognised as a leading competitor within the automotive industry.
Your New Role:
- Provide administrative assistance, collating and sorting customs relevant documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, borderos in accordance with required procedures
- Supporting the customs team with data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks
- Cross reference documentation with data received in the Customs system
- Monitoring and investigating import discrepancies, identifying errors or missing information, and liaising with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.

- Prior experience within a supply chain, logistics or customs environment
- Strong IT proficiency
- Ability to prioritise and manage key tasks
- Knowledge of customs procedures or import/export documentation
