Do you have a strong background in customs compliance and enjoy leading teams in a fast-paced logistics environment? Are you passionate about process excellence, regulatory compliance, and delivering high standards of customer service? If so, you could be the newest addition to our team as a Customs Supervisor.

Be part of the movement – and play your part.

About the role

Working Monday to Friday, 14:00–22:30, you'll oversee evening customs operations, ensuring customs declarations, compliance activities, and export documentation are completed accurately and on time. Leading a team of five Customs Clerks/Administrators, you'll play a key role in supporting customers, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving process consistency across the customs function.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting a team of five customs colleagues, ensuring workloads are managed effectively
  • Managing and overseeing customs entries across a range of freight movements
  • Conducting compliance checks to ensure declarations meet all regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with Catch Certificate, TRACES, customs, and border control requirements
  • Monitoring customs processes, identifying improvements, and driving operational efficiencies
  • Liaising with customers, internal departments, and external partners to resolve customs-related issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting audit and compliance activities

About you

You'll have at least two years' experience in a customs supervisory role, with strong knowledge of customs compliance procedures and regulatory requirements. Experience managing Catch Certificates, TRACES documentation, RoRo movements, and deep-sea freight operations is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
