Role Description
The Cut and Crease Minder is a full-time, on-site role based in Wellingborough. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring cut and crease machinery to ensure printed materials are processed accurately and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting job tickets, preparing tooling and materials, performing quality checks, and adjusting machine settings to maintain output standards. The role also involves routine maintenance, identifying and resolving basic mechanical issues, and working closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
- Experience operating cut and crease, die-cutting, or similar print finishing machinery, with the ability to set up and adjust equipment accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, including visual inspection skills for print quality, alignment, and cutting accuracy.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve routine machine issues and perform minor maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production specifications, and work instructions, and to follow standard operating procedures.
- Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work to production schedules and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to health and safety guidelines and safe machine operation practices.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with machine operators, supervisors, and quality control staff.
- Previous experience in print, packaging, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial; training on specific equipment may be provided.
- Willingness to work on-site in Wellingborough and to undertake shift work or overtime when required to support production demands.
