RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opportunities for general help supporting our mill and fabrication departments.
- Follow instructions to safely operate machinery to fabricate carbon steel tubing for customers.
- Perform routine quality checks.
- The ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- This is a physical, fast-paced job which is critical to production.
- Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, work instructions, etc.
- Required to walk and stand for extended periods and be capable of operating power equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a general laborer or operator in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrates a commitment to working safely.
- Can work well as part of a team and follow directions.
- Comfortable with some heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Goal-orientated, forward-thinking, and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills preferred.
- Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment; proficient at reading a tape measure a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
