Are you an experienced Cutover Manager or Project Manager who thrives on leading complex technology transformations from planning through to successful go-live?
If you enjoy working closely with clients, senior stakeholders and technical teams while bringing structure to high-profile programmes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As Cutover Manager, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of a major technology transformation and go-live programme. You'll act as the key link between the client, technical delivery teams, suppliers and business stakeholders, ensuring every aspect of the cutover is carefully planned, communicated and delivered.
This is a highly visible, client-facing role where your ability to manage complexity, maintain business continuity and provide confidence to senior leaders will be critical to success.
You'll be based near our Leeds office and will attend site on an ad hoc basis. However, depending on project requirements and key delivery milestones, you will be expected to spend more time onsite to support successful programme delivery. We can offer excellent career development opportunities, a collaborative environment and the chance to make a real impact on a major transformation programme.
What you'll be doing:
- Taking end-to-end accountability for the planning and execution of complex technology cutovers and go-lives.
- Developing and owning the cutover strategy, detailed plans, runbooks, readiness reviews, rehearsals and go-live activities.
- Coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders, suppliers and third parties, ensuring dependencies, milestones, risks and actions are effectively managed.
- Leading deployment simulations, dress rehearsals and contingency planning to minimise disruption and support business continuity.
- Producing and presenting senior stakeholder and board-level reporting, providing clear visibility of progress, risks and readiness.
- Supporting data migration, operational readiness and transition into live service following successful deployment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
