CVP Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
We are currently seeking a CVP Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join the team at Gates of Woodford.
£2,000 Joining Bonus*
Key Responsibilities:
- This individual will be the liaison between our customers and the workshop, carrying out road tests, reviewing job cards for information, asking for more information when required, and informing customers on progress.
- More involved and complicated repairs will be completed or advice given by this individual.
- Liaison with prior approval/ford technical when assistance is required or pre-diagnosis completed.
- This individual is required to be a minimum of 50% productive and is further incentivized by the overall department productivity and the monthly customer satisfaction score.
- Take responsibility for ensuring all jobs are completed within agreed time frames and that a high level of department productivity is maintained.
- Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage.
- Adhere to strict Health and safety guidelines at all times.
Minimum requirements:
- A successful track record within a similar role, ideally within a franchised dealership environment.
- Minimum NVQ level qualification (or equivalent)
- The capability to work within a highly successful team.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.

Working Hours:
- 40 hrs per week, Monday - Friday with Saturday's tri-weekly
Salary:
- OTE £37,211 – £40,310

*Starting bonus of £2,000 (gross) is applicable to new starting Vehicle Service Technicians at Gates from the 1st October 2023 only. The Vehicle Service Technician should not currently be employed by a Ford dealer. Once a job offer has been made and accepted, and they start work with us, an introductory commission of £1,000 will be paid to them upon completion of one months’ service, with a further £1,000 payment on successful completion of their probationary period. Starting bonus payments for rejoining Motor Vehicle Technicians will be at the discretion of a Managing Director.
