CX Lead
York (Hybrid, 3 days per week)
up to £65,000 DOE + Benefits
We're working with a growing multi-brand business looking to hire a CX Lead to help them better understand how customers interact with the business and where those experiences can be improved.
This is a newly created role sitting at group level and it's a bit broader than a traditional CRO position. Yes, you'll be looking at website journeys, drop-off points and testing opportunities, but you'll also be looking at the bigger picture.
You'll spend time speaking directly with customers, understanding what their journey looked like, what influenced their decisions and where friction exists across both digital and offline touchpoints. From there, you'll turn those insights into ideas, experiments and improvements that make a measurable difference to the customer experience.
If you're naturally curious about customer behaviour and enjoy digging into the "why" behind the data, this could be a really interesting opportunity.
What's in it for you?
- Up to £65,000 DOE
- Hybrid working (3 days in York)
- Flexible working hours
- Health cash plan
- Retail discounts
- Discounted services
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Buy and sell holiday scheme
- Pension
- Learning and development support
- Dog-friendly office

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
