Job Description:

This is a hybrid position that requires attendance in the Cambridge office at least 2 days a week.

What will I be doing:

As a Cyber Analyst, you’ll play a key role in investigating cyber operations and communicating with customers about how Darktrace positively impacts their businesses. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Using the Darktrace platform and supporting tools to investigate alerts and produce reports.
  • Monitoring network traffic for unusual patterns and identifying threat trends.
  • Assessing risks and implementing straightforward security measures.
  • Researching emerging threats and phishing techniques to help customers stay protected.
  • Answering basic customer queries via email or chat with clear, simple responses.
  • Sharing knowledge internally and externally, including writing technical blog posts.
  • Representing Analyst work and cybersecurity principles confidently in customer-facing engagements.
  • Staying up to date with the latest developments and trends in cybersecurity.

What experience do I need:

We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A basic understanding of procedures to follow during a security breach.
  • Awareness of AI enhancements in cybersecurity products and their benefits.
  • Ability to explain core product features and their importance.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members.
  • A proactive approach to learning and staying informed about cybersecurity trends.
