Join Aon’s UK Commercial Risk Cyber Practice as a Cyber Business Development Manager
Are you passionate about helping clients navigate one of the fastest-evolving risks facing businesses today? Do you thrive on turning strategic ambitions into tangible commercial growth?
Join Aon’s UK Commercial Risk Cyber Practice as a Cyber Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cyber risk solutions across the UK!
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.
About the Role
In response to the growing demand for, and increasing complexity of, cyber risk, Aon UK Commercial Risk is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Cyber Business Development Manager. This role will help translate the UK cyber strategy into practical growth activity across Commercial Risk Retail by strengthening pipeline discipline, improving conversion of new and expanded opportunities, deepening collaboration across broking, consulting, claims and sales teams, and ensuring Aon's analytics-led cyber value proposition is consistently brought to clients and prospects.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. The successful candidate will act as the commercial support to the UK Cyber Practice Leader, requiring strong stakeholder management, internal influence, disciplined follow-through, and the ability to turn senior-level growth priorities into coordinated client activity across the UK business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
