Summary of Role Purpose

As a Senior Manager within KPMG’s Digital Health team, you will take a senior leadership role in helping healthcare organisations deliver meaningful, measurable adoption of digital health technologies on the frontline. The role is focused on turning digital investment into sustained clinical, operational, workforce and financial value through adoption, change, implementation, optimisation and benefits realisation.

You will work with executive stakeholders across national, regional and provider healthcare organisations to define future-state digital capabilities, develop transformation strategies and oversee programmes that deliver measurable clinical, operational, workforce and financial outcomes.

The role requires substantial experience leading complex digital adoption, change and delivery programmes across frontline healthcare environments, including Electronic Patient Record (EPR) deployment and optimisation, clinical workflow redesign, technology-enabled productivity improvement, benefits realisation and supplier or large vendor mobilisation.

You will also play a key role in developing KPMG’s Digital Health capability, including building propositions, developing reusable methods and assets, coaching junior colleagues and helping grow the practice within the wider Technology & Data portfolio.

Description of the Role

  • Lead large-scale digital adoption, change and delivery programmes that enable frontline health and care teams to use technology effectively, safely and consistently.
  • Develop digital health strategies, adoption plans, transformation roadmaps and implementation approaches that connect national priorities with provider-level operational delivery and frontline clinical workflows.
  • Lead the design and development of major healthcare transformation approaches, frameworks and methodologies, including Centre of Excellence models, reusable delivery assets and system-wide improvement approaches.
  • Lead and assure EPR-enabled transformation and wider health technology delivery, including deployment planning, readiness, change impact assessment, training, adoption, optimisation, stabilisation, benefits tracking and continuous improvement.
  • Work with large technology vendors, system integrators and supplier teams to shape delivery plans, manage dependencies, challenge progress, resolve implementation risks and ensure supplier activity supports client outcomes.
  • Translate learning from multiple healthcare organisations into strategic recommendations, leading practice, thought leadership and reusable transformation models.
  • Design future-state operating models, governance frameworks, service delivery models and capability development approaches for digitally enabled healthcare organisations.
  • Advise executive and Board-level stakeholders on digital investment priorities, value realisation, transformation risk, organisational change and digital maturity.
  • Lead multidisciplinary client, KPMG and supplier teams across digital adoption, change, clinical engagement, technology delivery, data, cyber, service design and programme management.
  • Develop productivity, performance measurement and benefits realisation frameworks that enable healthcare organisations to evidence the value of digital transformation.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including agentic AI, automation, Ambient Voice Technology, virtual care, remote monitoring, analytics and integration platforms, to improve healthcare outcomes and operational performance.
  • Support the development of KPMG’s market-facing Digital Health propositions, thought leadership and business development activities.
  • Coach, mentor and develop Analysts, Assistant Managers and Managers, supporting their consulting, technical and leadership development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
