About OneClickComply
OneClickComply is a compliance platform built in Sunderland. We take the work that normally eats weeks out of an SME’s year, getting ready for Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and the rest, and automate most of it.
The team is around 12 people today and growing quickly. This role is the expertise behind the platform. You’d be certifying real companies, running audits, and telling engineering which parts of your own job are worth automating next. If you’ve spent the last few years working through the same spreadsheets by hand, that’s the problem we’re here to solve.
What you’ll need
- The IASME Cyber Essentials Assessor qualification, held and current. This one isn’t negotiable, we can’t put you in front of certifications without it
- Hands on assessment experience against the current question set, including Cyber Essentials Plus. Device sampling, authenticated vulnerability scans, and testing malware, browser and email protections
- ISO 27001 internal audits against the 2022 standard. Audit planning, evidence gathering, writing up findings and tracking corrective actions through to closure
- Working knowledge of SOC 2 and the Trust Services Criteria, and readiness or gap assessments ahead of a Type I or Type II. You won’t be signing the report, that’s the CPA firm’s job, but you’ll get clients to the point where their audit is a formality
- The ability to explain a failed control to a non-technical director without patronising them or losing them
- Confidence pushing back. Part of this job is telling a paying customer they haven’t passed
- Write ups that stand up on their own. If IASME or a client queries a decision six months later, your notes should answer it

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
