We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Intellectual Property (IP) & Cyber Team focussed on placing Global mid-market clients into the London Market.

What the day will look like
- Supporting the negotiation and placement of renewal and new Cyber and IP business for mid-market clients in a contract certain process.
- Assisting with the review and drafting of insurance contracts, endorsements and policy wordings, and helping issue documentation to clients and insurers.
- Using electronic placing platforms to support the placement, sign-down and signing of insurance contracts with insurers.
- Helping prepare market presentations, data packs and broker submissions to address clients’ enquiries with insurers.
- Supporting the collection, analysis and manipulation of risk and exposure data to inform placement strategies.
- Providing a high standard of service and developing technical expertise to support clients, senior brokers and account management teams.
- Helping to monitor placement timelines and internal processes to ensure they are followed and documented appropriately.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues, the London insurance market and underwriters.
- Collaborating with global Cyber and IP colleagues to share market insights, best practice and product developments.
- Representing Aon professionally and demonstrating an understanding of our corporate objectives and values.

We are looking for someone who is early in their career but motivated to grow quickly in a technical broking environment. The ideal candidate will have:

Experience and knowledge
- Some insurance or risk-related experience (internship, graduate role or early career), ideally within commercial lines; Cyber and/or IP exposure is advantageous but not essential.
- Enthusiasm to develop technical insurance knowledge, including Cyber and IP products and policy wordings.
- Ability to learn and use insurance market and Aon IT systems, including electronic placing platforms, to help deliver efficient client service.
- Ability to interpret information and present it clearly in reports, presentations and submissions.
Relationship and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage with colleagues, underwriters and other market partners.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a cross-functional and international team.
Personal attributes
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Strong intuition for business and a genuine interest in Cyber and IP risk.
- Ability to self‑manage workload, follow well-defined processes and meet deadlines.
