Cyber Project Manager | Global Banking Organisation

6 month contract | £735 per day inside IR35

London | 4 days in office required

My client is a Global Banking Organisation looking to hire an experienced Cyber PM, to manage the delivery of various cybersecurity projects in a busy Cyber portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret cybersecurity relevant regulatory and other requirements or best practices and translate these to business aligned cybersecurity programme requirements.
  • Manage the delivery of cybersecurity projects within agreed scope, cost and timescale.
  • The delivery manager will be responsible for support and execution of the following deliverables as required: charter and roadmap, role Matrix, status reports, programme schedules, issues and risk log, communication protocol and escalation plan, scope change assessment and change requests. Also, business requirements specification and requirements traceability Matrix.
  • Stakeholder Engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, IT Security etc to manage project goals and objectives
  • Technical Oversight. Provide technical guidance and support required and addressing as appropriate - eg evaluation and recommendation of cybersecurity tools and technologies relevant to project needs.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Strong track record of delivering Cyber Security projects within Financial Services and Banking is essential.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with broad scope and complexity.
  • Hands-on experience delivering cybersecurity technology initiatives, such as:
    • Endpoint protection and hardening (eg Microsoft Defender or equivalent)
    • End-of-Support/End-of-Life (EoS/EoL) remediation for cybersecurity or infrastructure platforms (eg CyberArk, Active Directory)
    • Data protection and Web/E-mail security (eg DLP)
  • Broad working knowledge of core cybersecurity domains, including:
    • Identity and Access Management
    • Threat and vulnerability management
    • Risk assessment and security testing
