We are looking for an experienced Cyber Project Manager, Programme Manager or Senior Consultant to support a major Cyber Recovery Programme within a large infrastructure and engineering organisation.

The business has already undertaken work to identify its critical internal systems and is now moving forward with a programme focused on cyber recovery and resilience. You will play a key role in driving the programme forward, working across cyber security, infrastructure and wider technology teams to coordinate workstreams, manage stakeholders and ensure the successful delivery of recovery and resilience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the delivery of a large-scale Cyber Recovery Programme.
  • Coordinate multiple technical and business workstreams.
  • Work closely with cyber security, infrastructure, architecture and technology teams.
  • Manage senior stakeholders across a complex enterprise environment.
  • Support the development and implementation of cyber recovery and resilience initiatives.
  • Manage programme governance, risks, issues, dependencies and reporting.
  • Help ensure critical systems and services have appropriate recovery and resilience plans in place.

Required Experience

We are looking for someone with a strong background in project, programme or consulting delivery, with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Cyber Recovery
  • Cyber Resilience
  • Cyber Security Transformation
  • Disaster Recovery
  • IT Resilience
  • Business Continuity
  • Critical Systems
  • Technology Recovery

You should also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering complex technology or cyber programmes.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working across technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams, risks, dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Experience operating within large, complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Background

Industry experience within infrastructure, engineering or similarly complex and regulated environments is strongly preferred.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within sectors such as:

  • Infrastructure

  • Other large, complex and highly regulated organisations

Experience of working in environments with significant operational dependencies and business-critical technology will be highly advantageous.

Consulting Experience

Previous consulting experience is also strongly preferred. This could include experience gained within a:

  • Big Four consultancy
  • Management or technology consultancy
  • Cyber security consultancy
  • Transformation consultancy
  • Specialist professional services environment

The successful candidate should be comfortable entering a complex environment, quickly understanding the challenges, working with senior stakeholders and providing the structure and direction needed to drive a major programme forward.
