About the Role
Canopius is looking for a confident, commercially minded professional to join our Cyber Insights & Analytics team.

We're looking for someone who understands cybersecurity and cyber risk, but success in this role will be driven as much by communication, influence and relationship-building skills as technical expertise.
This role would suit someone who has already developed strong professional foundations and is looking to further their career within a growing, market-leading cyber team.
What You'll Do
- Deliver client-facing briefings, workshops and cyber advisory services.
- Build trusted relationships with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders.
- Translate complex information into clear, practical insights and recommendations.
- Support the development of reports, presentations and thought leadership content.
- Work closely with cyber specialists and underwriters to enhance our service offering.
- Help identify client needs and contribute to the evolution of our cyber services capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
