Job Title
A leading UK energy and infrastructure services business delivering critical projects across the built environment. They are focused on safety, sustainability, operational resilience, and supporting essential services.
This role will focus on providing security risk input across a range of business change, software development, and continuity planning projects. An information security SME is needed for a leading compliance and energy solutions company who are looking for support for their rapid growth and transformation, with the mission to enhance energy efficiency and improve living standards.
You will sit at the heart of the organisation’s cyber defence, owning and driving critical security activities across incident response, risk and vulnerability management, third-party assurance, and regulatory compliance aligned to ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will actively shape and elevate access management controls, contribute to strategic cyber resilience initiatives, and take ownership of key elements of security governance. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role positions you as a trusted senior presence within the function, regularly representing and acting on behalf of the Group Head of Cyber Resilience and Security in both operational decision-making and senior stakeholder engagements.

💰 Paying up to £60,000 per annum
🏢 Fully remote
Responsibilities:
- Representing the function in senior stakeholder forums and providing leadership across both day-to-day operations and strategic cyber initiatives.
- Own and drive core cyber defence activities, including security incident response, enterprise and third-party risk assessments, and vulnerability management, working closely with technical teams to prioritise and deliver remediation.
- Shape and strengthen the organisation’s cyber maturity, leading ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials compliance, enhancing access and privileged access controls, and contributing to cyber resilience, DR, and continuity planning.
