About The Role

We are seeking motivated individuals interested in launching or advancing their careers in cybersecurity. This role involves participating in a fully-funded, 14-week online training program leading to a Level 3 NCFE Certificate in Principles of Cyber Security. The program is designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills in cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, security testing, incident response, and industry legislation. Successful candidates will gain valuable insights into safeguarding digital assets and responding effectively to cyber threats, preparing them for roles in IT support, cybersecurity, or related fields. Qualifications

  • Residents of London or nearby areas
  • Aged 19 or over
  • Earn below £28,860 annually
  • Have the right to study in the UK
  • Not currently enrolled in another government-funded course

Applicants should demonstrate a keen interest in technology and cybersecurity, possess good communication skills, and be committed to completing the online training program. No prior experience in cybersecurity is required, making this an accessible entry point for newcomers to the field.

Responsibilities

  • Attend all scheduled online classes from Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 9pm
  • Engage actively in coursework, practical exercises, and assessments
  • Complete all assignments and projects within designated timelines
  • Participate in discussions and collaborative learning activities to enhance understanding
  • Apply learned principles to simulated scenarios to develop real-world skills
  • Maintain consistent communication with instructors and program coordinators
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a proactive attitude throughout the course
  • Leverage the training to pursue relevant employment opportunities in cybersecurity and IT support
