About The Role
We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Cyber Security Career Programme, designed to equip participants with the essential skills and certifications needed to excel in the cybersecurity field. This role is ideal for those looking to start or transition into a technology career with a focus on security. As a participant, you will undergo intensive, instructor-led online training that combines theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world scenarios. The program includes comprehensive coursework, hands-on projects, and industry-recognised certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, and Forescout FSCA. Upon successful completion, participants are guaranteed a pathway into employment through our established partnerships with leading employers in the IT sector. Qualifications
No prior technical experience is required to enroll in this program. We welcome applicants who demonstrate determination, excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in building a secure and sustainable career in cybersecurity. Ideal candidates are proactive, eager to learn, and committed to completing the comprehensive training modules. A basic understanding of IT concepts is beneficial but not mandatory, as our curriculum is designed to guide beginners through foundational principles to advanced security practices. Candidates should possess a proactive mindset, good problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology and security. The program is suitable for individuals seeking a career change or recent graduates aspiring to enter the cybersecurity industry.
Responsibilities
Participants in the Cyber Security Career Programme will be responsible for actively engaging in all aspects of the training curriculum, including attending live instructor-led sessions, completing assignments, and participating in hands-on projects that simulate real-world cybersecurity challenges. They will learn to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents effectively. Throughout the program, participants will prepare for and obtain four industry-recognised certifications, enhancing their credibility and employability. Additionally, learners will collaborate with peers and mentors to develop problem-solving skills and gain practical experience in cybersecurity operations. Post-program, participants are expected to leverage their new skills and certifications to secure employment in cybersecurity roles, with ongoing support from Newto Training and its employer partners.
