We are supporting a leading technology organisation that safeguards critical infrastructure and enterprise systems globally through advanced cybersecurity measures.
The Role
- Proactively monitor security events, alerts, and incidents across enterprise networks and systems
- Investigate and triage security alerts to identify malicious activity and determine attack methods
- Manage security cases and tickets through to resolution, ensuring accurate documentation of incidents
- Follow established incident response and escalation procedures to contain and mitigate security risks
- Identify and address false positives, providing feedback to improve detection capabilities
- Support the development and optimisation of security monitoring rules and processes

What You'll Need
- Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years' experience in cyber security, security operations, threat analysis, or security monitoring
- Experience investigating security incidents within a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment
- Strong understanding of incident response processes, security event triage, and escalation procedures
- Knowledge of networking protocols, authentication mechanisms, common attack techniques, and information security principles
- Experience securing and supporting Windows and Linux environments
