Cyber Security Analyst

Are you passionate about protecting organisations from evolving cyber threats? Do you enjoy analysing data, identifying vulnerabilities and helping businesses strengthen their security posture?

We're looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing team. Working as part of our Vulnerability, Remediation and Detection service, you'll play a vital role in helping our customers identify, understand and mitigate security risks before they can be exploited. You'll be at the forefront of cyber defence, analysing information from multiple security tools, responding to emerging threats and supporting incident response activities when security events occur.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer engagement, helping organisations improve their security maturity while delivering a high-quality managed security service.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you'll work closely with customers, consultants and engineers to ensure that security risks are identified, communicated and addressed effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating vulnerability assessments and scans across customer environments
  • Installation of threat management software
  • Offering advice and undertaking patching to remove security weaknesses identified by our consultants
  • Peer reviewing change requests to ensure they do not introduce security regressions
  • Quality assessing new implementations against established security baselines
  • Ongoing identification and tracking of patches released by our partners, eg Microsoft
  • Assisting engineers in the investigation of security events and incidents and assisting in the production of security incident reports
  • Data cleansing activities ensuring deprecated assets are investigated and removed from reporting where required
  • Presenting vulnerabilities to customers, discussing industry trends where appropriate

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
