About the Client
Norton Blake is partnering with one of the world’s leading global media and TV production powerhouses. Operating in over 30 countries and generating thousands of hours of original programming annually, our client is an international entertainment giant with an extensive network of production labels and digital content channels.
They are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join their lean, highly effective global security team based in Central London.
The Role
In this hands-on position, you will report directly to the Group Cyber Security Manager and play a key role in protecting the organisation’s global media operations. You will oversee and enhance security services across an outsourced SOC, cloud platforms, network security tools, and modern security technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical liaison with the outsourced SOC to ensure rapid detection, escalation, and resolution of security alerts and major incidents.
- Manage, operate, and tune key security platforms, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, Network Anomaly Detection (NAD), and cloud security technologies.
- Oversee vulnerability management and coordinate remediation efforts across global systems.
- Design and operate SOAR workflows to automate response playbooks and improve operational efficiency.
- Support the operational management of Secure Email Gateways (SEG), Secure Web Gateways (SWG), Firewalls, and CASB.
- Monitor third-party vendor SLAs and participate in service performance reviews.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, security playbooks, and incident reports.

What We Are Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills:
- 4–6 years of experience within cyber security operations (SOC, security tooling, incident response).
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and the Microsoft Defender Suite (Endpoint, Identity, Server, Cloud), alongside Azure Security Centre.
- Proven experience managing major incidents and collaborating with third-party/outsourced SOC providers.
- Demonstrated experience designing and operating SOAR workflows.
- Hands-on knowledge of Network Anomaly Detection (NAD), firewalls, LAN/WAN security principles, Secure Email Gateways, and Secure Web Gateways.
- Solid grounding in security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST, as well as hybrid/cloud architecture security.
- Relevant degree or industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, GIAC, CYSA+).

Desirable Technical Stack & Background:
- Experience using Darktrace, Proofpoint, Cisco Umbrella, Fortinet, or Tines SOAR.
- Prior experience working within Television Production, Media, or Postproduction environments (including familiarity with specialised postproduction security requirements).
- Experience navigating multinational, matrixed corporate environments.
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, highly analytical, and naturally curious.
- Strong communicator able to bridge technical details with global business teams.
- Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
