Cyber Security Architect
Location: Bristol/Cheltenham (flex-hybrid)
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Package
NOTE: Due to project requirements, you must already be holding Active UK Security Clearance (SC).
Join a major technology and consulting organisation delivering complex, high-profile transformation programmes across enterprise IT, cloud, and operational technology environments. This is an opportunity to work on security architecture projects that protect critical systems while helping organisations modernise and innovate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and develop security architectures for complex technology solutions.
- Partner with solution architects, technical teams, assurance functions, and stakeholders to ensure security is embedded throughout the lifecycle.
- Conduct threat modelling activities and translate findings into practical security requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on security controls, risk mitigation, authentication, authorisation, and protective monitoring.
- Support architecture across cloud, on-premises, networking, OT, containerised, application, and database environments.
- Present security solutions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' commercial technical security experience across one or more areas including cloud, networking, OT, infrastructure, containerisation, databases, application security, or mobile technologies.
- Experience conducting threat modelling and security risk assessments.
- Good understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex security concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous Security Architect experience is beneficial, although experienced security engineers, consultants, or technical specialists looking to step into architecture will also be considered.
