Senior Cyber Security Architect
Location: Remote (UK Wide)
Salary: Up to £120,000 + Benefits
We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a consultancy team, helping clients design and deliver secure digital transformation programmes across a variety of industries.
This opportunity is ideal for security professionals who combine strong technical expertise with consulting experience and have developed deep specialisms within modern security architecture domains.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and deliver secure architecture solutions across enterprise, cloud, data and application environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing security leadership throughout transformation and change programmes.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure architecture designs.
- Lead security architecture reviews, threat modelling workshops and security assessments.
- Embed security-by-design principles into cloud, data, AI and software delivery initiatives.
- Define security standards, patterns, controls and reference architectures.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders to influence key technology decisions.
- Support client engagements, solution development and pre-sales activities where required.
- Stay current with emerging threats, technologies and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' commercial experience within Cyber Security, Security Architecture or Security Consulting.
- Experience operating in a consulting, advisory or client-facing environment.
- Deep technical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Cloud Security
- Microsoft 365 Security
- AI Security
- Data Security
- Application Security
- Experience designing and implementing security controls within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of modern security architecture principles, including Zero Trust and cloud-native security.
- Ability to influence both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have
- Experience with technologies such as Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Purview, DevSecOps toolsets or security engineering platforms.
- Security architecture certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF or equivalent.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud, data, AI or application modernisation programmes.
