About the Role
15+ years in Identity and Access Management / Privileged Access Management architecture, including large-scale enterprise or telecom delivery.
Hands-on architecture experience with CyberArk and native cloud privileged access tooling. Strong understanding of Qualys/ Trusight.
Strong working knowledge of the UK Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021, the Electronic Communications (Security Measures) Regulations 2022, and the NCSC Telecoms Security Requirements / Code of Practice.
Proven experience designing JIT/ticketed access, break-glass procedures, SoD controls and privileged session monitoring.

Working knowledge of telecom network architecture (BSS/OSS, core network, RAN, VNF/CNF, management and orchestration planes) and how identity controls apply to them.
Cloud architecture experience across at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure or GCP), including IAM, federation, conditional access and zero-trust principles.
Experience with identity providers (Sailpoint) and directory services integration.
Familiarity with related frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, and Ofcom security reporting requirements.

Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work across security, network engineering.
Preferred Certifications
- CISSP, CISM, or SABSA
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
- Vendor certifications: CyberArk Defender/Sentry, BeyondTrust, or equivalent
- Cloud architect certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Duration and Location
Duration will be 6 months and can be extended for long term also. Looking for someone based in London/ around London and can work from Reading/ Newbury 2 to 3 days a week.
