Cyber Security Architect - £800/day via Umbrella - 6 Month Contract - Manchester / London / Birmingham - Hybrid - SCC Flex Contract
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to support the design and delivery of secure enterprise technology solutions for a large-scale customer environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cyber Security Architect to shape security strategy, influence major transformation programmes, and ensure security is embedded across complex IT landscapes.
Your responsibilities as the Cyber Security Architect:
- Define and maintain security architecture standards, frameworks, and design principles.
- Lead security architecture reviews across cloud, infrastructure, networking, application, and data platforms.
- Provide expert guidance on secure-by-design approaches for new and existing solutions.
- Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and security design reviews.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.
- Support security governance activities and contribute to security roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate security controls.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate security risks and architectural recommendations.

As a successful Cyber Security Architect, you will have:
- Proven experience working as a Cyber Security Architect within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Experience designing and securing cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
- Deep understanding of identity and access management, network security, endpoint security, and data protection.
- Experience conducting threat modelling and security risk assessments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to UK organisations.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.
