Cyber Security Assurance Consultant
Work from home with occasional travel to client site | Permanent
MCS Group is working with a growing technology business that is looking to add an experienced Cyber Security Assurance Professional to its team. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with customers, technical teams and senior stakeholders to provide confidence that technology solutions are secure and appropriately controlled.
You'll work closely with clients to understand security requirements, assess risk and help provide assurance around the security of delivered products and environments.
The Role
The Cyber Security Assurance Consultant will act as a bridge between customers and internal technical teams, helping demonstrate that appropriate security controls and processes are in place.

- Working directly with customers on cyber security assurance
- Supporting security reviews and risk assessments
- Providing evidence around security controls
- Working with technical teams to address security requirements
- Supporting Secure by Design approaches
- Applying recognised security frameworks
- Reviewing security architecture and controls
- Supporting customer assurance activity
- Helping communicate technical security information clearly to stakeholders
- Supporting security governance and compliance activity where required
What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience across areas such as:
- Cyber Security Assurance
- Security risk and governance
- Information Security
- Security Architecture
- NIST or similar security frameworks
- Defence or government security environments
- Customer-facing cyber security
- Security controls and assurance

Sponsorship isn't available for this position and current or previous SC clearance would be a strong advantage.
You could currently be working as a Cyber Security Assurance Consultant, Security Consultant, Security Assurance Manager, Information Security Consultant or even Security Architect. This role will particularly suit someone who combines strong security knowledge with the confidence to work directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
