Computershare have an exciting opportunity to join our Global Information Security (GIS) team as a Cyber Security Business & Reporting Analyst, working within the Planning & Engagement team (P&E).

Through partnerships our team actively supports the business objectives whilst reducing the overall composite risk to Computershare. The P&E team are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of strategic security data, report generation and coordination, demand and engagement forecasting.


A role you will love

We're looking for a talented and analytical Cyber Security Business & Reporting Analyst to join our small, collaborative, and dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality reporting, KPIs and KRIs, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across our expansive Cyber Security function.

In this role, you'll be responsible for producing insightful reporting and dashboards from multiple data sources, leveraging tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Azure DevOps. You'll transform complex data into meaningful insights for senior stakeholders, support project and workload management activities, and help ensure our E2E reporting and operational data remain accurate, reliable, and actionable.

Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you'll gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, define success measures, and translate business needs into effective reporting and technical solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly dashboards, reports, and executive reporting packs.
  • Deliver reporting outputs in line with agreed service levels, KPIs, and deadlines.
  • Collect, manage, and maintain security, risk, demand, training, and operational data across key systems.
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, exceptions, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of Power BI reporting models and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, support functions, and operational stakeholders to resolve issues and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Support the tracking, reporting, and governance of key initiatives, projects, and improvement activities.
  • Identify reporting efficiencies and opportunities to automate or improve existing processes.
  • Produce meaningful insights and recommendations that support informed business decisions.

What will you bring to the role?

You will have experience working in a technical environment, preferably in Cyber Security, IT, Technology, or Application Development, with a strong understanding of operational reporting and data analysis. Strong candidates without Cyber experience may also be considered. Most importantly, you'll be able to interpret data, communicate insights effectively, and build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders.

Skills and experience required for this role include:

  • Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, and report optimisation.
  • Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis techniques.
  • SQL and data extraction/reporting tools.
  • Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar workflow and backlog management platforms.
  • Producing executive-level reporting and communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.

Essential

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and improving reporting solutions and Power BI models.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge constructively where appropriate.
  • Experience producing both dynamic self-service dashboards and formal reporting packs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a Cyber Security function.
  • Knowledge of demand, capacity, workload, or forecast management.
  • Experience designing or maintaining databases and data structures.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting and training users on reporting tools and processes.
