Prisma Access Consultant – Contract
Location: UK Wide (Have to be a UK resident)
Contract: 12 Months
Day Rate: £500–£600 per day Outside IR35
We’re looking for a highly experienced Prisma Access Consultant to join a major enterprise security programme, delivering hands-on Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access solutions across complex environments.
This is a hands-on technical delivery role, so we need someone who has genuinely configured, deployed, migrated and troubleshot Prisma Access in live enterprise environments — not someone who has only worked at architecture or presales level.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering Prisma Access implementations end-to-end, including service infrastructure, service connections, remote networks and mobile users.
- Designing, configuring and troubleshooting GlobalProtect environments.
- Building and managing security policies using App-ID, User-ID, URL Filtering and Threat Prevention.
- Configuring and troubleshooting IPsec VPNs, routing and connectivity across enterprise environments.
- Supporting migrations from legacy VPN, firewall and MPLS environments into Prisma Access.
- Working with BGP, OSPF, static routing, NAT and DNS.
- Supporting identity integrations including Microsoft Entra ID, SAML and SCIM.
- Configuring and troubleshooting TLS/SSL decryption.
- Producing technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, runbooks and as-built documentation.
- Managing cutovers, troubleshooting live environments and supporting projects through hypercare and handover.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
