Part-Time Infrastructure & Cyber Security Consultant
2/3 Days Per Week | 3 Month Contract
£600 - £850 per day | Remote
AWS Migration Project
Creideas are currently partnered with a Cyber Security client who require a part-time Infrastructure & Security Consultant on an initial 3 month basis, with potential to extend or convert to permanent.
This is a crucial hire as you help guide their client through a migration from traditional data centres to AWS, whilst also collaborating with the CISO, sharing suggestions based on your observations, assisting the Infrastructure & Security Engineers where needed, building relationships, and ultimately helping with their strategic vision.

This is a part-time role, likely for 2 or 3 days per week for an initial 3 month period. The role is mostly remote, with very occasional catch ups with the team face to face.
Infrastructure & Cyber Security Consultant Responsibilities
- Lead their migration from data centres to AWS
- Combine your skills as an Infrastructure & Security Team Lead and AWS migration Project Lead as they transition from traditional data centres to AWS for their co-located Infrastructure stack (virtualised + physical equipment)
- Support a small team of Engineers, working as an escalation point and guide throughout
- Work closely with the CISO, understanding their position, sharing observations, performing security review, and assisting with the overall strategy
- Provide skills across SIEM, EDR, and Vulnerability Management tools. Vendor agnostic but SentinelOne and/or Microsoft Security experience would be advantageous

Infrastructure & Cyber Security Consultant Skills
- Previous experience leading a DC to AWS migration
- Capable of leading teams and providing mentorship
- Experience working in an Advisory capacity
- SentinelOne experience (advantageous, not essential)
- Microsoft Security experience (advantageous, not essential)
- Sonar experience (advantageous, not essential)
