Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join a growing security function within a leading financial-services environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, deep security engineering experience and a passion for strengthening cyber resilience across complex systems.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll bring at least seven years’ experience in information security and a broad understanding of modern security methodologies, tools and frameworks. You’ll work across network, application and operational security, helping to design, implement and enhance controls that protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data.

What you’ll be working on

• Engineering and supporting core security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, encryption and EDR/XDR.
• Working with a wide range of security products such as NG firewalls, secure web gateways, IAM, sandboxing, WAF, SASE and other enterprise solutions.
• Leading and contributing to incident response, root-cause analysis, threat hunting and forensic investigations.
• Reviewing system and infrastructure changes for security implications and recommending improvements.
• Strengthening vulnerability management, patching processes and cloud-security controls across public-cloud environments.
• Applying frameworks such as CIS, NIST, OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK to uplift security posture.
• Supporting secure SDLC practices and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
