Cyber Security Consultant – London Market Insurer

Location: City of London – Hybrid (3 days in office)

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 + bonus

We’re working with a leading London Market insurer looking to appoint a Cyber Security Consultant to join its specialist cyber team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a cyber security professional who wants to move beyond purely technical security and develop their career across cyber risk, threat intelligence, cyber insurance and strategic risk management.

The Role

You’ll work closely with senior cyber risk stakeholders and contribute to a broad range of initiatives, including:

  • Monitoring and analysing the evolving cyber threat landscape
  • Leading the production of cyber and insurance market intelligence
  • Supporting cyber risk strategy, appetite and guidelines
  • Contributing to Realistic Disaster Scenarios (RDS) and risk modelling
  • Supporting the development and delivery of cyber technical training
  • Assessing and selecting technical tools and developing external scanning insights
  • Producing internal reports, thought leadership and market intelligence
  • Building relationships across a global cyber community

  • Practical cyber risk and risk assessment experience
  • Strong threat intelligence capabilities
  • An understanding of cyber insurance
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence presenting technical information to varied audiences
  • A proactive, self-driven approach and genuine interest in cyber threats

Consultancy experience is desirable
