Location: Preston, London or Birmingham
Working arrangement: Hybrid (30% office / 70% home)
Contract length: 3 Months
IR35 status: Inside / Umbrella
Security clearance: Active MOD SC Clearance required (must have been used within the last 12 months and have a minimum of 3 months remaining)

Your new company

You will be supporting a major Defence programme within a multi-supplier (SIAM) environment, working as part of the Operational Integrator (OI) function to onboard new service providers into an established security operating model.

Your new role

As a Cyber Security Consultant specialising in Process Alignment and Supplier Onboarding, you will play a key role in ensuring suppliers are integrated effectively into existing cyber security governance, assurance and operational processes.

This is a governance, integration and enablement position focused on aligning suppliers to established security processes rather than redesigning them. You will work closely with Security Assurance, Incident Management and Vulnerability Management teams to ensure suppliers understand their obligations and can demonstrate readiness from day one.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop structured supplier onboarding packs covering security processes, governance requirements, policies and reporting expectations.
  • Define supplier roles, responsibilities and interaction models across suppliers, service integrators, operational integrators and client stakeholders.
  • Act as the central security integration point for onboarding suppliers into the SIAM security model.
  • Translate established cyber security processes into clear supplier guidance and onboarding documentation.
  • Identify and manage gaps between supplier capabilities, client expectations and existing SI/OI processes.
  • Support supplier assessments relating to Security Management Plans, compliance reporting and assurance activities.
  • Ensure suppliers understand audit expectations, governance requirements and evidence obligations.
  • Coordinate onboarding across multiple service commencement dates and transition activities.
  • Produce reusable process documentation, governance packs and supplier guidance materials.
  • Support operational readiness activities, including readiness assessments and onboarding across core IT service management processes.
  • Help ensure continuity between incumbent providers and newly onboarded suppliers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
