Security Engineer (DV Cleared) - Cambridgeshire (Hybrid)
💰 Market Rate | Inside IR35
⏱ 6+ Month Contract
🔐We’re looking for DV-cleared Security Engineers to join a high-profile secure programme, working across complex Defence environments in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
You’ll work alongside a Security Engineering Lead and wider engineering teams to implement, maintain, and improve security controls across critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security tooling and technical controls
- Develop and maintain security baselines and secure configurations
- Assess vulnerabilities and implement effective risk mitigation
- Support SIEM, protective monitoring, and security logging
- Work across Windows, Linux, virtualisation, networking, and endpoint security
- Support security accreditation, testing, and verification activities
- Produce technical/design documentation and security artefacts

Technical Experience
Experience across several of the following:
- Endpoint Protection, Malware Protection, Application Control & DLP
- SIEM / Protective Monitoring
- Firewalls, proxies, mail gateways, and network security
- Windows & Linux security
- Virtualisation and hybrid cloud environments
- PKI, LDAP, SAML & authentication technologies
- CIS / NIST / MOD security requirements
- Secure system accreditation and security engineering
