Lead Cybersecurity Engineer
Permanent | Hybrid | UK
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to take ownership of cybersecurity across cloud, infrastructure, identity and endpoints within a growing technology business.
This is a hands-on Lead-level role for someone who can set technical direction, lead security initiatives and work closely with engineering teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead cloud and infrastructure security across GCP
- Own security architecture, IAM, Zero Trust and network security
- Secure Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune
- Lead vulnerability management, threat detection and incident response
- Embed security into CI/CD and Terraform/IaC
- Drive security automation using Python, PowerShell or Bash
- Support SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance

What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security or infrastructure security
- Proven experience at Lead, Principal or equivalent level
- Strong hands-on GCP security experience
- Strong IAM, cloud, network and infrastructure security knowledge
- Experience with MDR/EDR, vulnerability management and Zero Trust
- Terraform/IaC and scripting experience
- SOC 2 or ISO 27001 exposure
