Cyber Security Engineer

The role is open to EMEA based candidates and it is a fixed 12-months contract.

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting the company's global enterprise IT environment, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical business systems across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions. You will design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, identity and access management, and collaboration technologies.

Working closely with infrastructure, applications, and digital transformation teams, you will proactively identify vulnerabilities, monitor security threats, respond to incidents, and drive continuous improvements to the organisation's security posture.

The role requires a hands-on security professional who can balance operational excellence with strategic risk management in a complex manufacturing environment. You will support compliance with industry standards and regulations, lead security assessments and remediation activities, contribute to security architecture and technology roadmaps, and promote security best practices across the business. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that cybersecurity is embedded into enterprise systems, projects, and business processes while enabling innovation and operational efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
