Cyber Security Engineer - Endpoint Security
Type: Contract - 12 month FTC
Location: Remote / Occasional travel to site
Salary: £110,000 + Bonus
SC Clearance is mandatory
Role Overview
We are seeking a Security Engineer to help protect enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments from cyber threats. The role will focus on endpoint security, vulnerability management, risk mitigation, and maintaining secure and reliable services.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain endpoint security platforms, including Tanium and SentinelOne.
- Deploy and manage endpoint security capabilities covering asset management, patching, software deployment, threat response, and compliance.
- Monitor performance, availability, and effectiveness of endpoint security services.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and queries to support security and IT operations.
- Integrate endpoint security tools with wider IT and cybersecurity platforms.
- Conduct audits and support compliance with relevant security standards.
- Troubleshoot endpoint visibility, patching, and software deployment issues.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on endpoint security best practices.
- Keep up to date with platform developments, cybersecurity threats, and industry trends.

- Experience administering Tanium in a medium-to-large enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint management, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
- Experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages for automation and reporting.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) or equivalent certification is desirable.
