Job Title: Senior SOC Engineer
Location: Hybrid (Warrington or Leamington Spa)
Salary: Up to £75,000 (+Bonus)
Lumora Solutions is hiring a Senior SOC Engineer on behalf of a global cybersecurity consultancy.
The role focuses on enhancing security monitoring, detection and response across enterprise environments, while driving SOC automation, efficiency and the use of AI to strengthen threat detection and response.
What you will be doing:
- Design, develop and optimise SIEM detection rules, alerts and correlation logic to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives
- Engineer and onboard security logs across cloud, infrastructure, applications and security technologies.
- Build and optimise log ingestion, parsing, normalisation and enrichment processes to ensure high-quality security data.
- Continuously improve detection coverage, alert quality and SOC efficiency through automation and engineering

- Strong experience in Detection Engineering, SIEM, alert tuning and false-positive reduction.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR, log onboarding, parsing, automation and API integrations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and/or CrowdStrike NG SIEM is beneficial.
