This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.

The starting salary will be from £50,253 to £56,535 on Grade G, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Participation in the out-of-hours on-call support rota is a requirement of the role and includes providing incident response and technical escalation when on call.

About You

You will bring substantial experience of cyber security architecture, security engineering and secure solution design within a large or complex organisation. You will have strong knowledge of modern security architectures, including cloud, identity, endpoint and Zero Trust security, together with a sound understanding of recognised frameworks and guidance such as ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, the Cyber Assessment Framework and NCSC guidance.

You will be able to develop technical roadmaps, standards and architectural patterns, assess complex technical risks and recommend pragmatic, proportionate solutions. Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as you will need to explain complex security matters clearly and influence technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams without relying on formal authority.

You will also have experience of providing technical leadership, mentoring colleagues and building effective relationships across architecture, engineering, operational and delivery teams. A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is required, alongside a recognised cyber security qualification or demonstrable equivalent professional knowledge and experience.
