Cyber Security Lead/SME - Active SC Clearance

London (Hybrid)


We’re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Lead / SME to join a leading client within the UK energy sector.

This is a senior technical role focused on cyber security, security architecture, cyber risk, resilience, and regulatory assurance across the energy/flexibility market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on cyber security, risk, and security architecture
  • Develop and maintain Threat & Risk Assessments and security requirements
  • Support NCSC CAF / NIS compliance, audits, and assurance activities
  • Contribute to Cyber Resilience and ISO 27001 assessments
  • Monitor emerging cyber threats, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Advise stakeholders on security risks and appropriate controls
  • Work with industry, regulators, and senior stakeholders on cyber security initiatives
  • Lead security-related projects, working groups, and industry change

  • Strong experience in Cyber Security / Security Architecture / Cyber Risk
  • Extensive knowledge of NCSC CAF and NIS
  • Energy / Utilities sector experience
  • Experience with Cyber Resilience Audits and ISO 27001
  • CISSP + ISO 27001 Lead Implementer preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
