Are you an experienced cyber security professional looking to make a strategic impact in a large, complex organisation?

We're seeking a Cyber Security Manager to lead and evolve our cyber security strategy, ensuring the protection of critical systems, data, and digital services. This is a leadership role with responsibility for governance, risk management, compliance, incident response, and the development of a high-performing cyber security function.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver an organisation-wide cyber security strategy aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cyber risk management activities, including vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, and security controls.
  • Oversee cyber incident response, ensuring robust preparedness, response capabilities, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of cyber security professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, frameworks, standards, and audit requirements.
  • Act as the primary cyber security advisor to senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience leading cyber security within a large and complex organisation
  • Strong expertise in cyber risk, governance, compliance, and security operations
  • Experience using vulnerability assessment and security monitoring tools
  • Good understanding of networking, cloud technologies, and modern security architectures
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • CISSP
  • CITP or equivalent professional accreditation
  • Information Security Management certifications
  • Data Protection qualifications
  • Degree in Cyber Security, Computing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
