Senior Cybersecurity Manager
Up to £75,000–£85,000 (+ car allowance and bonus)
West Midlands (Hybrid)
You’ll be joining a business that’s looking to overhaul their Cyber Sec as part of a major Data/Cyber and AI transformation. You’ll lead, design, and continually improve a modern cyber and information security programme.
This is high-impact and would suit someone who wants to shape the security posture of a complex, multi-site enterprise, not just tick compliance boxes.
You’ll be the type of security leader who can balance strategic governance with hands-on delivery, translating complex technical risk into clear business impact for senior stakeholders.
The absolute ideal person is comfortable presenting in Board or ExCo risk sessions and diving into security architecture, vendor reviews, or incident response playbooks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
