Cyber Security Project Manager – Global Investment Bank
Rate: £500–£650/day
Location: London – 4 days per week onsite
Contract: 6 months
IR35: Inside IR35
We’re supporting a leading global investment bank in the search for an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager / Technical Delivery Manager to join its cybersecurity delivery function in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused project manager who enjoys working on complex technical programmes, taking ownership and driving meaningful change across a large enterprise environment. We're keen to speak with Cyber Security Project Managers and Technical Delivery Managers who can combine strong delivery fundamentals with the technical understanding needed to manage complex security initiatives.
You’ll be responsible for delivering a range of high-priority cybersecurity initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders across Information Security, Infrastructure and Technology. The portfolio spans multiple security domains, offering the opportunity to work across critical remediation, security control improvements and wider technology transformation.
This isn't a role for someone who simply manages status reports. We're looking for someone who can get into the detail, manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity and proactively drive projects through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of cybersecurity projects, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines, budgets and objectives.
- Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks and issues across a complex technology environment.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across Information Security, Infrastructure, Technology and business teams.
- Translate security requirements and regulatory obligations into clear, actionable delivery plans.
- Drive remediation initiatives, security control enhancements and cybersecurity technology improvements.
- Maintain delivery plans, project governance, RAID logs and stakeholder reporting.
- Identify and resolve delivery blockers, escalating risks and making informed decisions where needed.
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and third parties to maintain delivery momentum.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
