Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, delivery-focused Project Manager to lead the delivery of key cyber security initiatives within a highly regulated financial services environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing strategic cyber security projects across a leading financial services organisation, covering areas such as CyberArk, Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Penetration Testing. You will work closely with technology, security, risk, compliance and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively while meeting regulatory requirements, internal risk frameworks and information security standards.
This role would suit a strong project delivery professional with experience managing cyber security or technology projects within a regulated and compliance-driven financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of cyber security projects across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies and deliverables.
- Work collaboratively with technology, cyber security, risk, compliance and business teams, as well as third-party suppliers and technology vendors.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation and escalation strategies.
- Maintain effective project governance, including RAID logs, status reports, budget forecasts and steering committee materials.
- Oversee testing, validation, deployment and transition-to-support activities to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Provide clear, accurate and regular project reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with organisational project management methodologies and change management processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
