Centrii is looking for someone to join our cybersecurity engineering team, working on internal network visibility and device discovery as part of R&D. The work is exploratory by nature: much of it involves figuring out how systems behave.
Expected to be curious, methodical, and quick to pick things up. We'll teach you the rest.
Responsibilities
- Build and test tooling for network discovery and asset data collection
- Work across a range of network and management protocols
- Investigate unexpected results and track them to root cause
- Write and maintain Python tooling for parsing and automation
- Set up and stress test lab environments
- Share what you find clearly, in writing and in person

Requirements
- Any hands-on exposure to virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, VirtualBox, or a cloud VPC
- Have used Nmap, Wireshark, or tcpdump, even just for coursework
- Awareness of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, or ISO 27001 — we mean awareness, not expertise
