Cyber Security Specialist | Threat Modelling & Cloud Security | 12 Month Contract
📍 Edinburgh | Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
💷 Circa £520/day | Inside IR35

I'm recruiting two Cyber Security Specialists to act as the security link between a large enterprise's central cyber function and its technology teams. You'll threat model new solutions, advise on securing cloud, AI and API based designs, and keep delivery aligned to security standards.

What you'll do
- Threat model solutions using frameworks such as STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK
- Advise teams on securing cloud, AI, RESTful API and containerised microservice designs
- Apply security expertise across endpoint, network, cryptography and IAM
- Align delivery to standards including ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, NIST, OWASP and COBIT
- Keep teams informed on emerging threats and build strong stakeholder relationships
What you'll need
- Broad cyber security knowledge across endpoint, network, cryptography and IAM in enterprise environments
- Hands on threat modelling experience (STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience securing public and/or private cloud, plus exposure to APIs and containerised microservices
- CISSP, CISM or CCSP (or equivalent)
- Strong stakeholder management and client facing communication
- Full UK right to work without sponsorship
