Cyber Security Specialist – PKI Team

Salary: circa £55,000

Location: Leeds, Sheffield, Norwich, York, Bristol.

Are you passionate about cyber security and protecting critical business services?

Join Aviva's Cyber Protection team and play a key role in helping to keep our customers, colleagues, and business secure.

You'll be part of a dedicated team responsible for managing and enhancing the cryptography services that underpin data security in our estate.

This could be the perfect role if you have hands-on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) experience, enjoy working with customers to solve security challenges, and want to develop your expertise across key management and deliver certificate automation within a large organisation.

A bit about the job:

We're looking for someone with hands-on PKI knowledge, particularly around certificate automation, and a strong interest in data protection. You'll work closely with technical teams, suppliers and stakeholders across Aviva, helping us strengthen our security controls and prepare for future cryptographic challenges and opportunities.

You'll also bring strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders and explain technical concepts in a clear and practical way.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
