Cyber Security Technical Manager
Salary: Competitive

Overview
Our client is an established UK mobility services organisation seeking a Cyber Security Technical Manager to provide technical leadership across its Cyber Security function.
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the role will lead several specialist cyber security teams and oversee the continued development of security engineering, secure development and security assurance capabilities.
The successful candidate will provide senior security consultancy across programmes and projects, support secure solution design and enable informed, risk-based decision-making. They will also act as a technical partner to Technology teams and represent Cyber Security within technical governance forums.
Responsibilities
- Lead specialist cyber security teams, providing clear technical direction and oversight.
- Develop security engineering, secure development and security assurance capabilities in response to business requirements and emerging threats.
- Provide senior cyber security consultancy across technology programmes and projects.
- Support secure solution design and define appropriate technical security requirements.
- Deliver technical security assurance to support informed, risk-based decisions.
- Work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer and other security leaders to support the effective day-to-day operation of the Cyber Security function.
- Act as a technical partner to Technology teams, supporting secure delivery at pace.
- Represent the Cyber Security function across relevant technical governance forums.
- Chair the Cyber Security Technical Working Group.
- Promote effective collaboration between cyber security, technology and programme stakeholders.
