🚨 Cyber Security Threat Hunter | Fully Remote | Permanent

We’re working with a growing organisation that is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Threat Hunter to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a 100% remote role, although hybrid/on-site working can be accommodated if that’s your preference.

If you have a strong background in Threat Hunting, Incident Response, SIEM and Microsoft security technologies, this could be an excellent opportunity to take your career further.

Experience with Ethical Hacking / CEH would also be advantageous.

🔐 What they’re looking for:

  • Strong experience across Threat Hunting, Incident Response and SIEM operations
  • Good understanding of IT, networking, security fundamentals and digital forensics
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security
  • Threat intelligence-driven hunting, including using intelligence to plan hunts, improve detections and identify malicious infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of Windows security and Microsoft identity, including Active Directory, Entra ID, authentication, Kerberos/NTLM, OAuth, MFA and Conditional Access
  • Experience analysing endpoint telemetry, including process trees, command lines, PowerShell, scheduled tasks, services, registry/file changes, WMI, persistence techniques and LOLBins
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Azure/XDR investigation
  • A detection engineering mindset, with the ability to turn threat hunting and red-team findings into practical, operational detections
  • Strong KQL experience, including joins, unions, parsing, time-windowing, summarisation, baselining and performance-aware querying across large datasets
  • Experience with security tooling, reporting and delivering work in a structured/project-based environment
