Win As a Team
The Cyber Engineering Specialist will also coordinate with the wider Cyber Engineering team where specialist support or broader delivery input is required, helping to align the right people, skills and capabilities to project and operational needs. The role works across Cyber Operations, Security Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, delivery teams and third-party partners to support secure implementation and effective control adoption.
You’ll Make An Impact By
- Provide expert cyber engineering advice to projects, programmes and change initiatives, helping teams understand and meet security requirements in a practical and achievable way.
- Reviewing proposed solutions, designs and delivery plans to identify cyber engineering requirements, dependencies, risks and implementation considerations.
- Translating security standards, patterns and control objectives into clear actions, technical guidance and delivery outcomes for project and operational teams.
- Coordinating the engagement of the appropriate Cyber Engineering resources where additional expertise, implementation support or specialist input is required.
- Supporting the implementation of cyber controls and engineering improvements across infrastructure, cloud, platforms, identity, endpoint, server and network domains as relevant.

Your Skills And Experience
- Strong technical knowledge of cyber security engineering principles, control implementation and secure operational practices across enterprise technology environments
- Ability to interpret cyber security requirements and translate them into practical, supportable and deliverable engineering outcomes
- Experience of supporting project delivery by advising on solution design, implementation options, sequencing, dependencies and technical risk
- Good understanding of security standards, control frameworks and regulatory expectations, including NIST, CIS and related governance requirements
- Experience across one or more cyber engineering domains such as identity, endpoint, server, network, cloud, platform or data security
- Ability to coordinate work across multiple technical teams and to engage the right specialists to support project and operational outcomes
